Awareness-Knowledge-Action
Our Awareness-Knowledge-Action initiative involves speaking engagements and the distribution of GOCA materials to women of all ages and their families throughout Georgia. We achieve this through health fairs, speaking engagements, Lunch & Learn sessions, and community events. Featuring ovarian cancer patients and survivors during these presentations personalizes the disease, reinforcing the message and underscoring the importance of recognizing the facts, signs, and symptoms of ovarian cancer. This empowers women to understand their bodies and take proactive steps toward early diagnosis.
We have resources statewide and can customize presentations, whether large or small, to suit any demographic. Through social media, we connect with new partners to help spread our mission and promote other ovarian cancer organizations.
